A ten-year-old girl in Chennai’s Anna Nagar was allegedly sexually assaulted for seven days. The girl’s parents claimed they were beaten by police during the inquiry and that their character was questioned. A senior police officer denied these allegations, and an official statement was issued by the Chennai police. A 14-year-old juvenile has been arrested in connection with the assault.
