The corruption, extortion, fraud and money laundering case against
former Cape Town human settlements MMC Malusi Booi and 28 others will
proceed in May.
This despite attempts by the accused to have the matter thrown out of
the court roll on Wednesday citing unreasonable delays by the National
Prosecuting Authority.
The application was shot down by the magistrate who instead instructed
the state to hand over the full docket to the accused by April.
