Billionaire Gautam Adani charged with massive fraud, bribery



Asia’s second richest person Indian businessman Gautam Adani and seven others have been indicted in the US for paying 250 million dollars in bribes to secure 2 billion dollars in solar energy contracts. They allegedly misled US investors while raising billions of dollars, facing charges of fraud and conspiracy. The SEC has also filed civil complaints, but Adani denies the allegations, calling them baseless. Smita Sharma has more
