On behalf of the United States of America, I extend my warmest congratulations to the people of Argentina on the 210th anniversary of your independence.

Under President Javier Milei’s leadership, Argentina has become an indispensable partner in advancing prosperity, security and stability throughout our hemisphere. The United States is committed to expanding our collaboration in critical minerals, civil nuclear energy, trade, and investment.

Together, we are confronting the threats of narcoterrorism, transnational crime, and authoritarian regimes that undermine freedom in our region. Argentina’s principled leadership in defending liberty and opposing tyranny sets a powerful example.

As we look toward the future, I am confident our partnership will continue to deliver meaningful results for both nations and our hemisphere as a whole.
