London-based cybersecurity continuous controls monitoring firm Quod Orbis has been acquired by Dedagroup, one of the leading Italian IT players, the company announced. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but the companies reported that Quod Orbis would remain independent within the group.

Dedagroup, a private independent group based in northern Italy with offices in Europe and the U.S., reported a 2023 revenue of €342million. Its acquisition of Quod Orbis follows its 2023 deal with Opentech, a software house specializing in integrated GRC solutions, and its 2022 agreement with Berma, a firm specializing in anti-money laundering, counterterrorism and risk mitigation processes.

“Dedagroup has an enviable reputation for excellence and is a trusted partner to companies across the world,” said Martin Greenfield, CEO of Quod Orbis. “Like us, they have seen the growing demand across a wide range of industries for CCM solutions to reduce risk and accelerate operational resilience.”
