Ken Paxton whistleblowers call on Texas Supreme Court to restore case: Full video

Following Ken Paxton’s aquital during an impeachment trial before the Senate, former attorney general employees held a press conference announcing a request of the state Supreme Court.

Those present during Monday’s event included Blake Brickman, Mark Penley, and Ryan Vassar, who each testified during Paxton’s impeachment trial. The men said they had filed a renewed motion to ask the Supreme Court to lift the abatement and restore their case. Doing so would return the case to district court in Travis County and possibly before a jury.
