UPDATE: According to the mayor of Stuttgart, AR, Jacob Cain is no longer an officer in that department. However, there has been no confirmation on whether he is or isn’t certified as an LEO with the state of Arkansas at this moment.
From the mayor of Stuttgart, “Let me begin by saying I am deeply sorry that you had this experience. I want to assure you that Jacob Cain has not been employed by the City of Stuttgart for over a year now, and from my understanding, is not acting as a law enforcement officer in any capacity at this time. His previous experience as a part-time officer for the City of Stuttgart certainly does not give him permission to speak as a law enforcement official in another state.” (NOTE: The mayor may not know his current certification status)
