– MIke Okiro, the chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), got the award for reportedly helping to fight corruption in the force
– SP Ebere Amaraizu, the spokesperson of the force in Enugu state, also got an award for his effecitiveness
– The award was given in Rome by Dr Antonio Adornato, who is the president of International Police Association (IPA)
