An Oakland County woman will spend a year in the Clare Country Jail for embezzling more than $200,000 from a private campground association in Lake.
Sandra Lee Rudenko of Clawson pleaded guilty in September to embezzlement of more than $50,000 but less than $100,000.
She was sentenced by Judge Roy Mienk last month to serve 12 months in the county jail, with credit for two days previously served, Clare Prosecutor Michelle Ambrozaitis said.
Rudenko was ordered to pay restitution to Sandy Shores Resort in the amount of $219,015 and $1,258 in assorted fines and costs.
