18 Ex-NBA Players Arrested and Indicted For Alleged Wire Fraud and Insurance Fraud Scheme

The Southern District of New York unsealed a federal indictment for 19 people. 18 former NBA Players, and the wife of one of the players was also indicted. The indictment alleges that Terrence williams was the ringleader of a scheme to defraud the NBA players health and wellness benefit plan by submitting fake reimbursement claims, and recruiting other players to assist them in doing so. Other players named in the indictment are:

* Shannon Brown
* William Bynum
* Glen “Big Baby” Davis
* Christopher Douglas-Roberts
* Melvin Ely
* Jamario Moon
* Darius Miles
* Milton Palacio
* Ruben Patterson
* Eddie Robinson
* Gregory Smith
* Sebastian Telfair
* Charles Watson Jr.
* Antoine Wright
* Anthony Wroten

All of these players are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
